BEYOND THE MAGIC GARAGE-STUDIO UPDATE

First of all, let's dispel a little myth here. We do not, like some blogs and press reports suggest, record EVERYTHING at the mysterious Garage studio at the end of a paranormal cul-de-sac. Yes, a lot goes on there (not all of it fit to be discussed here), but we also have an inspired and competent producer in Scott Gilman, of Hobby Shop Studios here in LA , who has been part of our sound from day one.

Check out the pic from yesterdays session. Scott's studio is a gorgeous place. All basics are done, now it's time to go back to said cul-de-sac, tune in to the signal beam and get weird. This is where things take shape and get a tad strange. Vintage synths and organs may be involved, the infamous Glockenspiel, a "Buddha Box" and many other devices.

Amidst all this we had to pass on this year's SXSW fest, but thought we'd treat ourselves to a little mini-tour closer to home. United Ghosts will be hitting Phoenix/Tempe AZ on March 30th and Las Vegas on March 31st (details to follow). Can't wait for Ghosts on the Road!
